And all its sights and sounds: 2010-03
http://snipingmizzy.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
I've never been much of a Nintendo Fan, as I've found their games to be too gimmicky. Now, there's the announcement of the Nintendo 3DS slated to be released in spring-summer of this year in Japan. Here's what it promises to be like:. I applaud Nintendo for taking steps towards new and innovative things, but is this just going to lead to more Mario games being made? But it's starting to feel like all the innovation and technology is used to simply "Make another Mario game". Assassin's Creed 2 review.

Raptured Reality: Core Concerns
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2011/03/core-concerns.html
Friday, March 25, 2011. Earlier in the week news surfaced. About the cancellation of a sequel to the highly regarded N64 title Perfect Dark. As well as its prequel Perfect Dark Zero. While not surprising, the cancellation brings with it some interesting tidbits about the direction of the abandoned game, and suggests that it wasn’t going to embody what it means to be a Perfect Dark. The first clue to this is the implication that Perfect Dark Core. Franchise, separating Perfect Dark Core. Alli - Sums up my...

Raptured Reality: That Other XCOM
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2012/01/that-other-xcom.html
Sunday, January 22, 2012. When XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Made by Firaxis Games) was announced via the latest issue. Anyone who follows me on Twitter. Titles on the way, I think it is frankly bullshit. Which was, in a lot of ways, better than the original classic. I'm not saying that their version of XCOM. Will or won't be a great game, but the fact that we don't know yet means that we shouldn't be passing judgement, which is my primary issue here. Is lavished with praise and interest? 8221;, the problem is on...

Raptured Reality: Amongst The Stars: Super Mario Galaxy
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2010/04/amongst-stars-super-mario-galaxy.html
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Amongst The Stars: Super Mario Galaxy. I have a confession to make, one that I imagine a fair few of you will be quite displeased with: I am not a true Mario fan like most Nintendo loyalists are. I never have been, I never will be. It's not as if I dislike the Italian plumber or the adventures to save the Princess that he finds himself embarking on, it's just. I prefer other franchises. It's not exclusive to the Mario. Series, either; I'm also not fond of Zelda. Looking over wh...

Raptured Reality: PC: Personal Conquest
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2011/07/pc-personal-conquest.html
Thursday, July 14, 2011. Finally, a game like. Crysis is actually available to me. As some of you may know, I recently purchased a computer that is capable of playing games. This might not mean anything to the rest of you but, for me, it is a significant hurdle that I have finally overcome after years of being behind and years of being unable to experience what is a significant part of the medium I love. Purchases for examples), and one that I absolutely enjoy with more enthusiasm than I perhaps should.

Raptured Reality: Bad Conscience Chicane
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2012/03/bad-conscience-chicane.html
Saturday, March 3, 2012. Things have been fairly quiet around here haven't they? Speaking of which, I have news! It's my great pleasure to announce that I have an article published in the latest issue (#5) of Ctrl.Alt.Defeat, an e-zine that you can find here. The theme of the issue is guilt (and related emotions) and I took the opportunity to experiment with my piece and try something different - not only in terms of writing generally, like my review. Story As most of you would know, my F1 2010. Finally,...

Raptured Reality: System Shock
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2011/04/system-shock.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. Three questions are being asked: Why did PSN go down? Why have Sony taken so long to communicate those reasons to its customers? And how did they allow such a thing, on such a serious level, happen in the first place? What happens once the initial problem and the justified panic that it caused, passes and things, for the most part, return to normal? To begin with, what does it mean for online, supposedly secure infrastructure? Like CDs and print, most people seem to believe that...

Raptured Reality: The Life I Live
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2011/03/life-i-live.html
Tuesday, March 22, 2011. The Life I Live. When I purchased F1 2010. I bought it excited to finally be able to play a racing game based firmly in the realities of a real life sport that I love. I was eager to re-live some of the moments that made the real 2010 season so amazing, and ready to drive on both tracks I’m familiar with - but don’t get featured regularly in other games like Monaco. And Albert Park in Australia. So to speak), F1 2010. And as a result, acting like one too. In this way has revealed...

Raptured Reality: F1 2011
http://raptured-reality.blogspot.com/2011/10/f1-2011.html
Thursday, October 13, 2011. An E-Zine and online website, recently posted their review of F1 2011. Meaning that after many years posting here on the blog, I have finally been published elsewhere! While we're on the subject of Formula 1 games, I suppose I should address a few things. First of all, reviewing this year's title suggests that I have moved on from last year's F1 2010. And, by extension, that I might be done with my Living The Life. As far as other content is concerned, both the Metroid Marathon.
