The Nanoscience and Microsystems (NSMS) REU program accepts applications from undergraduate students in their sophomore and junior years majoring in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, ceramics, biomedical engineering, physics and mechanical engineering. Students at 2-year and community colleges are also eligible if they have been admitted to a degree status institution in the majors listed above.
