Digital Creativity Lesson 3 – Altering images | Pixelali's Blog
https://pixelali.wordpress.com/2009/03/27/digital-creativity-lesson-3
You have to start somewhere…. March 27, 2009. Digital Creativity Lesson 3 – Altering images. Today we altered images to make them look good (positive) and bad (negative). For the good image the exercise was to add wings to Louis Walsh and make him look angelic on a background of clouds…. Our “homework” for this week was representing life and death using the back of a truck, left for ‘you may pass’ and right for ‘do not pass’! Posted in digital creativity. Laquo; Lesson No. 2 Photoshop.

You have to start somewhere…. April 3, 2009. Digital Creativity – Lesson 4. In this lesson today we did a lovely picture of Gerry Ryan looking nice and evil…. We also had an assignment to do for our continuous assessment. Then I chose a nice image for a change since Wayne and Gerry above🙂 so Liv Tyler was selected and I put a “mythology” type slant on the image. I used a background of a forest with a unicorn to bring out the mythical element. Posted in digital creativity. On April 21, 2009.

You have to start somewhere…. April 23, 2009. I chose iStock Photo for my web crtitque as they use all the design principles perfectly. The iStock Photography http:/ www.istockphoto.com. The layout is simple with two columns, the use of whitespace is excellent as it makes each section stand out and makes the message they’re trying to get across very clear. There is a search box and log in button which are very consistent with other websites. Laquo; Digital Creativity – Lesson 4. On May 15, 2009.

Digital Creativity Lesson 8 – Photo Assignment. May 15, 2009, 3:59 pm. Today is our last class😦 Sniff. Just when I was really starting to get into photoshop and finding it to be a practical application when adjusting my photos we have to say goodbye to ITB…. So today we did a photo assignment and told a story from 7 photos. Our story centered around aliens coming to earth (the alien being Ray D’Arcy) and Monika and myself fell in love with a cute little Ray. Getting close to ITB. Look at little Ray!

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Digital Creativity Photo Story. Adam & Eve. May 15, 2009 – 3:59 pm. Tagged Adam and Eve. Last week we were divided into teams to come up with a story using only pictures to tell it. I was teamed with Fergal and Gillian and we devised an alternative version of the Adam and Eve story. Fergal made the plasticine models, and a job well done there. Gillian and myself provided the backdrop, scenery and Large snakes. Laquo; Gestalt Principles. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I'm passionate about design that brings real solutions to people and makes their lives better. Design for me, starts by discovering the core purpose - why it's important for people. A strong design foundation begins with a deep curiosity on what goals and vision drives a project and developing empathy for who we design for. Here is a small portion of what I've done lately.
