http://moxnixandie.blogspot.com/2008/08/yes-my-plane-was-hit-by-lightning-how.html
Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Yes, My Plane Was Hit By Lightning. How Was Your Vacation? Let's get these two facts out of the way up front: we had a wonderful vacation, and everyone got home safe and sound. The weather was perfect the entire time we were there, except for a half-rainy day on Tuesday and evil thunderstorms on the day we flew home. Now, why do I say that these thunderstorms were malevolent? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). There are probably as many reasons to blog as there are blogs themsel...

Mox Nix: Special Topics in Calamity Physics
http://moxnixandie.blogspot.com/2008/07/special-topics-in-calamity-physics.html
Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Special Topics in Calamity Physics. Alright, let it be said: Special Topics in Calamity Physics. Is an amazing book. I just finished reading it last night, having spent my entire post-dinner evening reading it. I didn't even realize how late it was until my husband came wandering downstairs from his research lair (aka the study) to watch The Daily Show, looking a little confused as to why I was still on the couch, reading. On a school night, too. Happy 4th of July! Last Weekend ...

http://moxnixandie.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 4, 2007. I pulled up the OSU website today to find out about their Comp Sci offerings. Curiosity got the better of me, however, and I ended up at the Dept. of Economics webpage. A little poking around yielded the following information: 2 of my american classmates have graduated and are in their first year as professors. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mox Nix: Absentee
http://moxnixandie.blogspot.com/2008/11/absentee.html
Monday, November 3, 2008. Alright, I admit it: it has been a little quiet around these parts of the internets. I hope to be back on the blogging track soon, but here are some highlights:. 1) I live in a swing state. A big swing state with lots of electoral votes. Do you know what that means? Lots and lots of phonecalls, mail, etc. Tomorrow cannot come fast enough. 2) I sang the Faure Requiem with a massed choir last weekend. We had 6 hours of dress rehearsals. I KNOW. Mox Nix: Delightful
http://moxnixandie.blogspot.com/2008/07/delightful.html
Thursday, July 17, 2008. Every once in a while, working for a major corporation is delightful. My company has arranged for a local farmer's market to meet across the street from our building. Like Brigadoon out of the mist once every 100 years, the market of tents and pickup trucks materializes in the middle of our urban landscape every Thursday. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Special Topics in Calamity Physics. Surprisingly Good: Stranger than Fiction. Happy 4th of July! Ramblings of a Music Geek.
