On the 26th of October 2011 I left Highfield Grange Site in Great Clacton to ride to Brightlingsea, again still with old MTB ,cold and high winds I struggleed a bit with this ride.It was a 22 mile ride in all. My Bike Rides Journal. Sunday, 18 September 2011. Tour Of Britain 2011 Stage 8 London. Ok so this isn't actually a bike ride as I was taking the kids with me, but it is bike related lol. We caught the train into London to watch the final stage of The Tour Of Britain ride 2011. Stage 8 the TFL London stage. Myself and my friend set off for Banstead Station, on reaching Victoria we were told no trains were going to Banstead today due to planned engineering works.You can tell the Olympics are over,train companies and TFL are happy to go back to inconveniencing travellers every weekend! Its been a while since my last LOOP walk due to the kids on half term and then I was knocked off my bike going into work. So today 7th November 12,I get to do another West Wickham. I travel to Hayes Rail Station. Not to be confused with Hayes and Harlington Station which is nowhere near(close call and Im glad I checked ). We left Cockfosters Station and missed the start of the Loop,we walked up Cockfosters Road for a bit and entered Trent Park and quickly found The LOOP. Entrance to Trent Park. We walked through the Park passed a lake to our right and then passed a cafe where we picked up signs for the LOOP. After leaving Oak wood, which funny enough is mostly Birch we enter Enfield Chase. Monday, 26 November 2012. London LOOP-Moor Park to Elstree 5th May 2012. I arrived at Moor Park tube station on the Metropolitan Line to complete another section of the London LOOP. I left the station and immediately there's a sign for the LOOP.12 miles in total. Walking through a wood alongside Sandy Lodge Golf course. Great Tit in a Beech Tree. After leaving the golf course onto Sandy Lodge Lane I have a view across to the Colne Valley. While not exactly a rare bird ,they are a lovely bird all the same.

Tuesday, 26 March 2013. London Loop Old Bexley to Jubilee Park 25.03.13. As I set off from home there were still light snow flurries and the weather report said maximum temperature today would be a mere 1C.I thought this is going to be one cold walk,however it turned out as soon as I started walking I soon warmed up nicely but dare not stop for a rest! The lane bends round and uner the railway and then follows the track for a while. I now reach the River Cray. And now the scenery does finally improve!
