We got to use our Southwest miles for the 1st airplane trip in several years and attend my little sister's wedding conference weekend in Salt Lake. We played with cousins all weekend, went to BYU, visited with my grandparents in the mountains and fed their turkeys and deer, and got to take Lily to Conference for the first time. Car Accident Slash Science Fair. Parker set up his project with the help of his teacher, Mr. Fuchs. He worked on this with his buddy, Tyler. Because of the weather the days following the set-up, the students weren't able to meet with the judges to discuss their projects. They were judged completely on what was presented on their boards, which was a little crazy! This is a big deal! Audrey's beautiful project won an honorable mention in Animal Sciences. Birthdays just aren't as exciting as they used to be! Audrey turned 14 on a pretty normal old Wednesday. School, DI, Young Women, the usual! But she is anything but usual. We love this girl so much and enjoy seeing her blossom into young adulthood! Friends ordered her cinnamon sticks after school. The boringest (but yummy) birthday cake ever! Regional DI Competition for Audrey. Team, Pokem in DI, competed over the weekend at the regional, Mid-Cities Tournament. They did a great job! They were only up against one other team, but that team was made up of four senior boys. These girls rocked it and took first place! Right before the performance! Last-minute adjustments to Fluffy, their creature in the Creature Feature challenge. They chose the technical challenge this year:. Present a story of adventure with the creature as a character.

Fall For The WALKERS. Friday, October 25, 2013. Flamenco at the Play. It was such a crazy afternoon and evening yesterday that Sicily went straight from Dance to Phoenix's Play. Since Halloween is on Thursday next week her dance class will be cancelled, so she got to wear her costume to class. Then me, brilliant Mom that I am, took her clothes home and left them there.
