Point Lookout Lighthouse 'Paranormal Night'. In the summer of 2006, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources gave the OK for the Point Lookout State Park to make available opportunities for night time investigations of the Lighthouse. By renting access to the lighthouse, funds can be raised to pay for maintenance and restoration of the property. Under the direction of former member Kim Hammond, Southern Maryland Paranormal obtained sole access for the first "Paranormal Night".
