One idea is to walk straight out of the back of the Point Reyes Seashore Lodge (follow the bridge over the creek), along the Bear Valley Trail, to hit the coast at Arch Rock in 5 miles. Not too hilly and through lovely forests and fields. You can also head out to Limantour and stroll on the endless beach. Or hike up Mt. Wittenberg to Sky Camp for a view from above.
