Using thought for fishing. Tuesday, 22 November 2011. Langold Lake - Friday! Not been out in a while. Hoping to get the first feeder session underway at Langold lake on Thursday or Friday. All the weed is clear and its looks very good indeed. Reckon i'll be targetting it using the classic inline loop method on the G/Bait feeder with some light 0.06 Silstar tied to a B510 20 with single red. Looking forward to it already! I'll keep you posted. Wednesday, 16 November 2011. See ya soon,. Well i went for a l...

Using thought for fishing. Thursday, 26 January 2012. Grange Caravan Park Open - Blyton. Just a report on my recent match, not been being much of late and havn't done much apart from Section wins and Placing for the past couple of weeks so here's a full match report with an excellent out come. First of all i drew peg two:. In a bit more detail:. And to around 10-11 o'clock. So lets get started then! Which shortly followed this decent perch! Followed by even more roach:). It gave an odd 'Noding' fight, i ...

Fish4Thought: Welcome to Clumber - Part 3
http://nate-fish4thought.blogspot.com/2013/07/welcome-to-clumber-part-3.html
Using thought for fishing. Tuesday, 9 July 2013. Welcome to Clumber - Part 3. This time i'll be going through swim selection going towards the deeper parts of the lake and going towards to hardwick end. Ive not had huge success down this area but the areas that i have had fish on, have been highlighted. The important thing to remember down this area i feel is not always go for the long chuck near the arm and bowl. Peg H - 150 Yards, 178 Yards and 190 Yards. Recommend Chods and bottom baits. This particul...

Fish4Thought: Best ever method made for fishing..
http://nate-fish4thought.blogspot.com/2013/07/best-ever-method-made-for-fishing.html
Using thought for fishing. Tuesday, 23 July 2013. Best ever method made for fishing. I've got the best bait and methods to catching carp - FACT. You wondering what it is? You can have a whole host of the time proven baits out there with the best gear, but does it honestly catch you more fish? Does the bait give you the right spot at the right time for the only big fish in the lake? NO Does a bait find a clear spot on the lake bed which is blind to the eye? So you've found a couple of spots, but your stil...

Fish4Thought: All to complicated!
http://nate-fish4thought.blogspot.com/2013/07/all-to-complicated.html
Using thought for fishing. Monday, 22 July 2013. Do you ever wonder if people are just over complicating things? We all know that to sell the magazines and Jargon that we have to move forward, but for some reason some of the things i hear are taking carp fishing a step back to move the profits forwards. I'm seeing rigs that we just do not need and can be done a hell of a lot simpler with less hassle and probably works a hell of a lot better. Yeah i hear what your probably saying about the extra buoyancy ...

Fish4Thought: My close in and Margin rig.
http://nate-fish4thought.blogspot.com/2013/07/my-close-in-and-margin-rig.html
Using thought for fishing. Tuesday, 23 July 2013. My close in and Margin rig. Probably the most effect a rig and line has going through a swim is when it is fished close in and under your feet. You lot have probably seen endless methods and rigs for targeting close in carp but I tend to stick to just one. The Sponsors and a Couple of very good links. Using thought for fishing. Tuesday, 9 July 2013. Angling with an angle. Just a quickie folks. If your looking to get a nice angle from your hook without using skrink, try this little quick tip. Tie your knotless knot as usual, but then just thread the eye a third time and knot at the same time. It'll take it from this. To this, without any hassle:). Fish4Thought: February 2012
http://nate-fish4thought.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Using thought for fishing. Monday, 27 February 2012. Grange Caravan Park Open - Blyton 27th. Well its that time again, another open at the grange. I fully intended just to go for the roach this time and my rigs reflected that. No matter what peg. Balls like this will keep the fish coming in one after another. I'd be looking to plop one of these in every 2nd fish. On top of my pole line i also put the bomb rod up just as insurance, but i wasn't in the mind set that i was going to use it. Bet your thinking...

Using thought for fishing. Tuesday, 30 April 2013. Welcome to Clumber Park - The Secrets 2006 Part 1 Marking and Swim Selection. Welcome to Clumber Park. Now, Folks, this isn't going to be an article of Secrets of the lake, its going to be my own view and how i had great success on what i find to be, one of the hardest day ticket water in the area. Its not a huge secret anymore that Clumber Park has a good head of sizable carp to its name, but that doesn't stop the lads on site trying. Mark it all out an...
