The temperature reached a whopping 34 degrees today (with wind gusts 15-20 mph). WHERE IS THE GLOBAL WARMING THAT AL GORE PROMISED! The sad thing is, I just took the last of the Christmas lights down last Saturday. The lights are really the only difference between these two pictures. The Sargurohs of Konkan. Hodkhad is a village in the tehsil/mandal of Khed in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. This is a beautiful village in Khed Taluka, known for rice and mangoes. I remember asking how far is Dhabhol from Hodkhad. Now I know. Our grandparents used to take the boat trip from our village to Dabhol and then from there to Gateway of India in Mumbai.
