Chris, Jessie and Ava. Friday, July 3, 2009. This was my first time to get to go to the annual Fireworks at the Crosses at our church, and it was absolutely amazing! We had such a great time: awesome music by our Pinnacle Hills band, good food, tons of people, and an incredible 30 minute fireworks show set to music! What more could you ask for? Ava was a little scared of the fireworks, but thats ok, she's got plenty of years ahead of her to enjoy them. Can't wait till next year! July 4, 2009 at 9:40 PM.

Monday, August 31, 2009. First Day of Pre-School. I am so excited to see how Jacob grows and blossoms this year, making new friends, being in a new environment, new schedule, etc. I pray that his teachers are able to realize his gifts and appreciate the sweet boy that he is. And also that they will be patient with him and take the time to work with him on areas in which he needs some guidance. . I joined Twitter a few months ago and obviously, I have my own blog. It is my goal to be uber. Connected and cutting-edge. (I'm fighting the impending "out of touch" label that accompanies a 30 th. Birthday.) My tweets feed to my F acebook. Feed is and how to use it- and my RSS. Feed is built within my Gmail account where I get Facebook. I couldn't hide my horror.

Saturday, May 22, 2010. Bring on the heat. May has been busy for everyone. We started it off with a family bout of the stomach bug- -not fun at all! Christian headed to Nashville for a golf outing with some college buddies and nearly got washed away with all the flooding. I wrangled up the courage to leave the girls and headed to New Orleans for a relaxing girls' weekend. Of course they survived without me and had a blast getting spoiled by Christian. The girls have been to the drive- thru.

Tuesday, July 6, 2010. We love the lake! Another fun weekend at the lake! We spent the 4th on Lake Ouachita with our good friends, the Considine's and the Franks. The weather was perfect, the food was yummy, and the company was so much fun. The guys were way outnumbered in this group- 9 girls to 3 guys! Micah and Hadleigh getting ready for the ride. Abby and most of the kiddos. We made s'mores for an afternoon snack. Very yummy and very convenient to wash away the messiness in the lake! Born June 9, 2009.
