The Life of Dave. Portfolio & Resume. Over the past couple of months, for some odd reason, I’ve been asked one question over and over and over: “Where are you going to live after college? 8221; Each time I’m asked that question, I pause, not sure what to say, because I honestly have no clue. So, I’ve decided to make a list of pros and cons for each coast. It’ll be a fight to the death of sorts. Pros for New Jersey:. You don’t need to pump your own gas (and it’s cheaper). That thing was just annoying.

The Life of Dave. Portfolio & Resume. Just finished reading the Steve Jobs bio. I think this is my favorite quote:. My passion has been to build an enduring company where people were motivated to make great products. Everything else was secondary. Sure, it was great to make a profit, because that was what allowed you to make great products. But the products, not the profits, were the motivation. The Life of Dave. Portfolio & Resume. Tim Berners-Lee on the WWW. The World Wide Web (which is not the Internet, mind you), wasn’t really what we think of it today until around 1993, when the first GUI-based browser was released for it. Prior to that, though, the WWW was being worked on by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN. In August of 1991, Berners-Lee released an alpha version. Of the “WorldWideWeb application”, and ended the release message with this comment:. Feed Both comments and pings are currently closed.

The Life of Dave. Portfolio & Resume. The other day I picked up a small package from the post office. Inside was a small box. Within the box were 100 crisp, newly printed personal business cards. For me! They came out amazing, too! I did variations of 5 different colors and 5 different fonts. They all say “I 3 UX” on the back, along with personal details on the front. Makes me feel all official now. If you’re interested, check out Moo.com. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0.
