On 21st May, our unit of Irish guards were travelling back to our base when we were stopped and turned around at Dorking, Surrey. We were being sent to France. Just over 2 years ago 20 year old Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children and 6 adults at Sandy Hook school in America.
