There are a variety of foster options, including: full time, temporary, emergency care and respite/relief. Therapeutic homes and homes for infants pre-natally exposed to drugs &/or alcohol are also urgently needed. Fostering can be an incredibly rewarding experience. It can be very challenging and frustrating at times.

Here is a bit of what has been going on. Some of my creations are listed in online magazine. Tuesday, August 12, 2014. I have been asked to create a wrap in my Prairie style. Here is a finished piece. I used everything but the kitchen sink bits of lace, doilies and even curtain to create this lovely. Each one will be a one of a kind.

Thursday, June 23, 2011. It's good to be home. My mountain man breaking up the beaver dam at the lake. The last month has been spent at the lake and surrounded by friends and family. We got an NHL team back and I started a really fun job at CBC producing/co-hosting a summer variety TV series. Life is good! Looking forward to an awesome summer. If Sasquatch shaved and wore a Brooks sweater from the early 90s this is what it would look like. The Jets are back. Best birthday present ever. Links to this post.

You may recognize this cutie as one of the winners from the 2009 Vancouver Island Baby Fair. This little cutie is gearing up for tea time.only fitting since she has recently opened up a cafe on the water - the Lido (ok.her daddy has opened it up). This little cutie was FULL of energy.her trampoline definitely got a workout that day! The twins turn 1!
