Left Right and Center. Sunday, October 28, 2007. End of Another Week. Last weekend I had been to ISKON temple. When compared to old, small, silent, cold temples of Dakshina Kannada (DK) this temple is too posh and does not evocate the 'bhakthi' in me. But the efforts they are putting in providing quality mid day meals for school children in rural areas by 'Akshaya Patra' should be appriciated. Sunday, October 14, 2007. Wanted to take the dust off my camera, but due to arrival of this baby, I was very busy.

Left Right and Center. Sunday, October 14, 2007. Yesterday I bought a new CPU ( AMD Athlon 64 X 2 - 2.1 GHz, ASUS M2X MB, 2GB RAM, DVD RW and 200GB HDD ) . In terms of speed, its ahead of light years than our old P2 320 MHz, 256 MB RAM, 6GB HDD . Now editing photos, uploading music to ipod, watching movies etc are done at a faster pace than earlier. Had a quick breakfast at Kamath Madhuban. After breakfast, drove towards Ooty via Nanjanagoodu, Bandipur, Masinagudi and Kalhatti. It was cloudy weather all the way. Travel, Adventure and Photography. Monday, March 03, 2008. I was in KL from 10th to 16th of Feb. I was there to attend the Unified Messaging Voive Ignite session by Microsoft. Also, KL was rocking as Chinese new year celebration was going on. Diggerent shades and hues of red were everywhere. Chinese dance, music, food and lot more. Not to forget the unique Chinese Dragon Dance. I stayed at hotel Mid Valley, which is a good business hotel. The cost was around 180 MYR for double bed with breakfast.

Travel, Adventure and Photography. Thursday, July 30, 2009. Last one month I was in an official trip which helped me to realize one of my dreams - The Grand Canyon! I visited Boston, Phoenix and Danbury as a part of this trip. But the Grand Canyon overrides all these places. We drove around 250 miles from Tempe (a suburb of Phoenix, AZ) on a Saturday morning and reached the place by 12.30 PM. Spent nearly 4 hours there and reached the hotel back by 10 PM same day.
