Catholic Mom thoughts in blog form. Newer posts →. April 18, 2014. By Jeni @ Patron Saint {of Poopy Diapers}. Today is Good Friday, and the weather knows what’s up. In light that today marks the day that Jesus suffered intensely and died out of love for us, I shouldn’t be complaining about wading through puddles, pre-coffee this morning, with my almost-six-year-old dangling off my hip (because really, wading through puddles) on our way to Pre-K. I shouldn’t, but I’m not perfect. Sorry. March 5, 2014.

Thursday, November 18, 2010. Shadowing My Son's Heart Surgeon. That Friday in the fall, for sure, goes down as one of my most amazing days ever. I shadowed a doctor who is arguably the best pediatric heart surgeon in the southeast United States, and one of the best in the country. Is the director and principal cardiothoracic surgeon for the. UF Health Congenital Heart Center. I was right. I did all those things. I did not think I would step into his operating room. On Thursday, June 29, 2006. I took deep...

Catholic Mom thoughts in blog form. On Patience, Taking My Toddler to Mass, and Gratitude. November 10, 2014. By Jeni @ Patron Saint {of Poopy Diapers}. 8220;Patience achieves everything. — St Teresa of Avila. Let me take you on a journey. I aspire to sainthood, but I’m more of a Joan of Arc than a St Monica. Lead me into battle anytime — just don’t make me bare wrongdoing patiently. Or worse, silently. Not long ago I prayed,. God, what is the deal with this innate temper that gets me into trouble? Said ...

Catholic Mom thoughts in blog form. July 29, 2014. By Jeni @ Patron Saint {of Poopy Diapers}. I have emerged from the Edel Gathering with renewed zeal to blog. I have also emerged from sitting in the car for roughly 38 hrs and 2032 miles in 5 days. With little to no sense whatsoever. But then again, I probably started with not a lot. This post is going to ooze inspiration. At some point. Ready? 1 What the heck is Edel anyways? Is the dreamchild of Jennifer Fulwiler. So what was Edel? I found out about Ed...

Monday, November 29, 2010. We Will Miss You, Steve. 8220;Because your whole world can change in 24 hours.” –. That’s Steve Catoe. 8217;s quote from his latest blog post, “ 24 Hours at Johns Hopkins. 8221; I know that for Steve’s family, the past 24 hours have changed their whole world. I’d like to think he left us in the wee hours of Nov. 29, the 66. Anniversary of the Blalock-Taussig Shunt, which Steve has been writing about. Over the past two weeks. How to be a Great Teacher and Save the World at the Same Time: Gloop
http://gentile5.blogspot.com/2011/02/gloop.html
How to be a Great Teacher and Save the World at the Same Time. This site is dedicated to giving honest ideas to enhance education. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. I’m running along, jumping over the hurdles. Clearing them quickly, really rolling. Then all of the sudden after catching air over one of the hurdles, my right foot comes down, instead of landing on a hard, cinder track, I land in gloop. Back in the gloop. How many of these gloop sessions until I’m out of energy? How many are out of my control?
