Lena and Cystic Fibrosis. Friday, May 8, 2015. So, a lot has happened since I last updated. I'll start with that I was hospitalized for 9 days in April, and did IV antibiotics at home for 6 days following that. It went really well, and it improved my lung function by like 13%! I spent all last weekend out and about, I was even able to spend a few hours on Sunday sitting up straight WITHOUT something supporting my back! I haven't been able to do that in almost 3 years! Lena and Cystic Fibrosis. Sunday, August 17, 2014. CF clinic and ENT. So, I had my appointments on Friday. Both went surprisingly well. First my CF appointment I had 2.07 liters fev1, which is 73%! Going on home IV antibiotics Monday to prevent it from getting any worse. Have a follow-up on the 26th in Bethlehem, which is good, not as far of a drive. Lena and Cystic Fibrosis. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. I fell a week and a half ago and was better in about a week, normally that would take much longer for me. I haven't been having chest pain as often and my extremities haven't been as swollen as they usually are, and the swelling goes down more quickly after I wake up than usual. I am starting to feel a CF exacerbation coming on, I'm pretty sure it's just because of the weather changing. Today's been a high pain day though, so that's all for now.
