Temporary 2+: Tactica: Skaven Magic
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013/03/tactica-skaven-magic.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Friday, 1 March 2013. Such is the Skaven way. I'd almost never swap out Skitterleap unless I absolutely needed other spells, but that's not often. For only a 5 to cast, it's just too good. One of the more situational spells, as mentioned. If you find yourself against any kind of missile-based gunline, it can be well worth it. Otherwise it's probably better swapped out for the 13th or Warp Lightning. A very powerful spell against low Initiative armies and units, and espe...

Temporary 2+: December 2012
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Sunday, 30 December 2012. I'm such a dumbass. You know when you think something sucks, and then later on realise that it's actually the greatest thing ever? Well yeah, this is one of those situations. Just look at this card:. And then add this into my previous combo. Abuse for missing this earlier? Monday, 24 December 2012. MTG Golgari Win Condition. I've been playing around with my deck for a fair while now, and I think I've finally got my win condition down pat. By th...

Temporary 2+: DailyMTG: Sealed Deck Builder!
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013/04/dailymtg-sealed-deck-builder.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Thursday, 4 April 2013. DailyMTG: Sealed Deck Builder! Well, it has been a while, but anyway. I've become increasingly interested in Sealed and Draft, so for the fun of it, and to test out my deck-building skills, I tried out the Sealed Deck Builder. Here's what I came up with:. 2 Court Street Denizen. 1 Foundry Street Denizen. 1 Nav Squad Commandos. 1 Act of Treason. I like this card more than I probably should. 27 September 2013 at 18:54. The game is optimized for big...

Temporary 2+: G/B Golgari BIG Monsters Decklist For Standard
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013/01/gb-golgari-big-monsters-decklist-for.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Friday, 11 January 2013. G/B Golgari BIG Monsters Decklist For Standard. 2x Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. 3x Soul of the Harvest. 2x Vraska the Unseen. So how does it win? Well, as I said, there are a good number of ways this deck can pull off a win. Ideally, a Corpsejack Menace will be down, and an Increasing Savagery thrown onto something like the Deadbridge Goliath or Soul of the Harvest. Or we could sacrifice the creature with Jarad's second ability. But as some may hav...

Temporary 2+: Golgari Aggro
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013/03/golgari-aggro.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Saturday, 16 March 2013. They've been calling it "The Plague", and that's fair enough, but I reckon "Golgari" is a pretty sweet name, and if we can have "Bant Control", "Jund Midrange" or "Naya Humans" then why can't we have "Golgari Aggro"? Anyway, names aren't too importat I guess. What matters is that it's all the same thing really, and it all works the same. Instants and Sorceries (8). I still need to get myself 4x Predator Ooze. Who really is the main creature card...

Temporary 2+: January 2013
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Tuesday, 29 January 2013. Gatecrash Pre-release Results and Rundown. Walking into the store for my first pre-release was certainly quite the exciting experience, and the day did not disappoint. Cracking open all the boosters and searching for some solid Simic cards, I must say I did come up a touch short. I probably could've made a pretty solid Boros deck out of what I pulled, but this wasn't for competition and I came to play Simic, so that's what I did. My only issue ...

Temporary 2+: Warhammer: The Definition of Overpowered
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013/01/warhammer-definition-of-overpowered.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Sunday, 20 January 2013. Warhammer: The Definition of Overpowered. Every time an arguement begins on the Internet about whether or not a unit or army is overpowered, there's always those few people who say that there's no such thing as OP, that victory in Warhammer comes 100% down to skill and the luck of the dice, and as such nothing is OP because there's always a chance you'll just roll a bunch of 1's. Remember 5th edition when Necrons were balanced? Good at everythin...

Temporary 2+: Heldrake: Baleflamer or Hades Autocannon?
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2013/01/heldrake-baleflamer-or-hades-autocannon.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Monday, 14 January 2013. Heldrake: Baleflamer or Hades Autocannon? Well, as promised. I think it's time to help out those of you stuck on what to take on your Heldrakes, and why! I didn't know Baleflamers could hurt Flyers! Alright, let's get into it. And the same applies to standard vehicles. You have an OK chance to take out a vehicle over a turn or two. So really taking the Hades Autocannon makes your Heldrake pretty mediocre at just about everything. Unlike the Hade...

Temporary 2+: September 2012
http://temporary2plus.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Temporarily awesome. all the time. Sunday, 30 September 2012. 1500 Skaven Tournament List - Doing Well So Far! So for whatever reason my local Games Workshop has Fantasy tournaments at 1500 points. The tournaments are nothing big, with a maximum of 10 people who pay $5 each to play 3 games on a Sunday where the money paid is split between the winner and runner-up in Games Workshop vouchers, but they're a good way to get to know the players around the store, get some practice in and have some fun. There's...
