A blog about my extra virgin olive oil business that i set up in my gap year. Thursday, 23 June 2011. North Yorkshire Show 19/06/2011. The most recent show we at was the North Yorkshire show in Northallerton. It was quite a large show and i managed to sell enough things to make me happy. I had just bought 2 large banners and a traditional looking Catalonia table cloth so my stand looked the part. Next week we'll be at the Derbyshire show! Links to this post. After causing a scene outside the shop, the owner asked me if i wanted to stand inside the shop instead which i graciously accepted. Its been a good christmas in australia dispite not feeling like christmas! We had hot weather, good food and plenty of beer! For christmas eve i cooked a beautiful bbq consisting of steak, burgers, sausage and onion (you've got to have some veg! On christmas morning (around 1pm) we discovered that santa had infact come to the volunteer house!

Spent most of this week working on the great dividing trail build bridges and steps etc. We were working in an average of 32 degrees which was really tiring but the work was good. On the bright side i'm going skiing in 2 weeks to a music festival in Andorra which should be good. This isn't really helping the money situation but i'm trying not to think about this! I also seem to have alot of spare time nowadays and find myself planning my next excursion, so far i've half planned a month trip to Taiwan to learn Chinese and a months road trip round Europe.

We had a relaxed day today, finishing at 12 and having a bbq with all the staff. We're going for a few beers with them later to celebrate the end of 18 weeks of volunteering.
