http://emmaspgcereflections.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Monday, 20 October 2008. Hello, for the first time. To make this more personal, I have added a picture of my dog Gizmo. He is a little bit odd looking, and quite old. but looking at him makes me happy. This is my favourite photo of him; I took it myself. Remember to look at Monty's PGCE Blog. ilovedolly's I love Education!: ICT and my everyday life
http://ilovedollyeducation.blogspot.com/2008/12/ict-and-my-everyday-life.html
Ilovedolly's I love Education! Monday, 8 December 2008. ICT and my everyday life. Here finally is the post I have been meaning to write: ICT I come across in everyday life. Of course the reason why I have not gotten around to posting in so long is because I have been attached to my computer, and the internet, writing my assignment! A poor excuse, I hear you cry. So far so boring. I use the normal range of computers and printers for work in the library or at home. I watch lectures on a large digit...Just ...

ilovedolly's I love Education!: February 2009
http://ilovedollyeducation.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Ilovedolly's I love Education! Monday, 16 February 2009. In my Fantasy Classroom. Look This is £39.99. And I want one. OK probably a child could break this in 5 minutes but it's so cool! You write and draw on it as if it were paper. This would be so amazing if you could connect it to a whiteboard and have children send their pictures/writing directly to the screen. I mean for shared writing and group editing of text etc. Perhaps I should get one just to test it out. Mmmm That's a good idea. 2) a step-by-...

ilovedolly's I love Education!: March 2009
http://ilovedollyeducation.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Ilovedolly's I love Education! Sunday, 1 March 2009. Keep Your Blog and One Day It'll Keep You. To paraphrase Mae West! I hope you found the YouTube tutorials useful. I have certainly ended up getting a lot out of this as I have begun to find myself analysing the issues more than I would have done. Blogs aren't just for fun, like Social Networking, and they are not just for introspection (self-knowledge? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ilovedolly takes you with her on a journey into education.

ilovedolly's I love Education!: Turtles, an endangered species
http://ilovedollyeducation.blogspot.com/2008/12/turtles-endangered-species.html
Ilovedolly's I love Education! Friday, 12 December 2008. Turtles, an endangered species. As I have never seen them used in a school setting, I found the following article useful regarding the capabilities of using Roamer Turtles. I used to demonstrate roamers until two years ago. The main problem is that the roamers we have are the very large old ones, which are difficult to carry across campus, together with a laptop, data projector various other bits and bobs I need. 28 December 2008 at 09:18.

ilovedolly's I love Education!: October 2008
http://ilovedollyeducation.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Ilovedolly's I love Education! Monday, 27 October 2008. Why not check out the Primary-level Bean Experiment. I am running with a team from my class? Saturday, 25 October 2008. The BBC Bitesize website has a KS2 section, which I have found to be a simple and useful overview of topics such as electricity. From a teacher training revision point of view, if you don't happen to have a lot of equipment at home it's hard to revise circuits effectively, and I suppose that you could use activities like this.

Using the Interactive Whiteboard to it's full capacity rather than just a glorified blackboard is one of my secret aims (in life? I have taken to hanging around on YouTube in my (few! Idle moments and checking out the Promethean Tutorials which do show you more speedy ways doing things, such as this one on creating focus circles.
