everything is everything: October 2005
http://rickibell.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
What is meant to be will be. Thursday, October 13, 2005. I love in the book Blue like Jazz, where they set up a confession booth for the purpose of the Christians confessing their sins to the non-Christians. That is exactly what I feel like I need to be doing. Like every time someone finds out I'm a Christian I feel the need to immediately start apologizing for whatever Christian has done them wrong in the past. Posted by Ricki at 2:04 PM. angels on the side: ...grateful
http://bethecentre.blogspot.com/2014/10/grateful.html
Angels on the side. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. I noticed yesterday that the tree these beautiful golden yellow leaves fell from is completely bare. Less than a week ago Thea discovered the wonder of the autumnal ritual of playing in these leaves under a tree still covered in foliage. We actually spent several days playing there and I watched her progress from the stage of certain hesitation to touch them, to the sheer joy of tossing them with a giddy "whee! Angels on the side. Sunday, July 31, 2005. Appalling.inspiring horror, dismay, or disgust. This pastor had me at "appalling". He sites personal experience and several King James references in support of his conclusions: Matt. 7:6; 2 Cor. 6:14-15; Heb. 1:3-4 [. Because rock and roll was a term designated to mean illicit sex. He's obviously passionate about this subject and writes with a conviction in his belly and enough integrity to sign his name along with that of the church he pastors, but it's been a ...

everything is everything: December 2005
http://rickibell.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
What is meant to be will be. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. So on Christmas day I was told i was being moved to a different cottage. Merry Christmas huh? The cottage I was working in is starting a new program and they want people with degrees in social work and physiology. So that kind of counted me out of the running. I was honestly really sad that I had to leave my boys and my cottage. I was just starting to get the routine down and build relationships with my kids. Posted by Ricki at 11:33 PM. Last nig...
