The Duke’s Incubator. There is a lot of talk in DC. And other big cities. About incubators. And while Affinity Lab. Have had nice write-ups, one of the most important incubators in Washington, DC has had very little press. It also closed around 1928, and had nothing to do with tech start-ups. As you surely know by now, the Howard Theatre (640 T Street NW) was transformed in a $29 million renovation that completed and unveiled to the public last Spring. Photo courtesy DC Clubbing. Eat, drink, shop. Friday, February 18, 2011. Buy Me: 1539 Ninth Street. 1539 Ninth Street, NW. I noticed last weekend a sign on 1539 Ninth Street advertising the property for sale. 1539 Ninth Street is one of six structures comprising a symmetric set of buildings: 1539, 1541, 1543, 1545, 1547 and 1549 Ninth (1539 and 1549 are the bookends of the group and are twins). 1539 is at the far right and is mirrored. By 1549 at the far left. My apologies for the terrible photo). Posted by Shaw Rez. 751 P Street NW.

renewshaw.com: about
http://remakingleslumhistorique.blogspot.com/p/about.html
Eat, drink, shop. I started this blog in November 2006. One of the reasons I began blogging was to give myself a reason to learn about all of the great things the neighborhood has to offer. From the beginning, my main focus has been promoting Shaw as a great place to live, work, play, shop, and dine. Geographically, I write mostly about the area north of Massachusetts and New York Avenues, south of V Street, east of Eleventh Street, and west of New Jersey Avenue. Second, the area undoubtedly experienced ...
