A One Man Cut Flower Farm in Ypsilanti. The cut flower business ended in 2011 but I continue to post other items about gardening. Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Starting Asclepias tuberosa From Seed. For years I had problems growing. This was a few years ago and I decided to read up and figure out what I was doing wrong. The germination problem partly stemmed from inconsistent directions. Some catalogs say to just plant the seed, no special directions. This is what I had tried before. Stokes Seeds. Which usua...

http://goodscentsgardens.blogspot.com/2014/04/hellebores-as-cut-flowers.html
A One Man Cut Flower Farm in Ypsilanti. The cut flower business ended in 2011 but I continue to post other items about gardening. Sunday, April 13, 2014. Hellebores as cut flowers. Hellebores are nice to have in the garden. Deer, rabbits and ground hogs don't eat them. They grow well in partial shade. The flowers persist for weeks (though the color becomes a bit duller). They are as early as daffodils but don't look like spring bulbs. The foliage is attractive and evergreen. Project Grow Community Gardens.

Ann Arbor Michigan Local Food Adventure. Mushroom Kit: How To. So why donate to my blog when you can read all of the stuff for free? I see it like throwing a few coins into the guitar case for a street musician who plays you a good song. A few donated coins (or dollars) will not make you broke nor will it make the musician rich. It is simple a gesture of appreciation that you like their work and you wish to contribute a little coinage to help keep the musician (or food blogger) doing their craft. Ann Arb...
