Saturday, December 31, 2011. More kids.Date Changes for Africa. I just went out to the barn and another doe had a kid. Now all our pens are full again. We are starting chores at 4:30 - bottle feeding first cause we have so many kids to feed tonight. My chevre is about ready to come down but we cant deliver it till Tue as the restuants are not open. It is cold out and the wind is a little nippy. The does milked pretty good this morning. This evening we should get a good milking too. Have a Happy New Year.

Happy Soles started in 2008 when someone originally from Appalachia found the ministry of the Happy Church ( www.thehappychurch.org. And donated $1,500.00 so that the children of the Happy Church could have a new pair of shoes for school. As a result of that gift, approximately 60 children were able to go to Shoe Show and pick out their own shoes with the help of Hope Church of Mason, OH (6th-8th grade youth group). Both years a donor made sure each child had at least one pair of socks for their new shoes.
