Sunday, October 6, 2013. I've been in the middle of midterms but here are a few pictures I took the other day while golfing with Sam. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. The Cremer Family: October and November
http://thecremerfamily.blogspot.com/2015/02/october-and-november.html
Tuesday, February 3, 2015. October was a fun month! The girls were really into Halloween this year. They are obsessed with The Wizard of Oz and Livia wanted to be Dorothy, and Oma and Aunt Laura took it to the next level by finding costumes for the whole family! Ella was Glinda the good witch, Lena was the cute lion, Paul the scarecrow, and of course I was the wicked witch! Here we are trying on our costumes at Oma's! Happy baby with Opa! We got a piano! They got their nails done. I went on a fun field t...

The Cremer Family: May 2013
http://thecremerfamily.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 13, 2013. Well, it is now May, and I am two months behind on updating the blog! We have been busy with visitors, trips, and lots of fun activities. Here is a very abbreviated update with lots of pictures! Chloe and Dylan stopped by with their biiig sweet dog, Dozer. My friend and I did a fun indoor triathlon at our gym! It was short- 10 minute swim, 30 minute bike, 20 minute run. My friend will get mad at me if I do not say this but I won for women! But don't give that much credit! We went ou...

The Cremer Family: January 2015
http://thecremerfamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2015. Happy birthday Livia and Ella! We celebrated the girls' birthdays with a joint party at The Little Gym. This was such a wonderful party because it was so easy for me and the kids had a blast. All I had to do was provide a cake and goodie bags and they did the rest! The kids ran around, and played games while the parents were able to leave to go run errands or stay and chat. Everyone had fun! With their buddies Zoe and Lily! There were a lot of kids! Look at all the little girls!

The Cremer Family: January 2013
http://thecremerfamily.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 20, 2013. Oh my goodness time is flying! We have been so busy! The holidays were great but went by too fast.though it was nice to get back to a regular schedule with preschool and our activities. We spent a lot of time at the gym going to family swim over break and it has really been paying off! Livia is starting to swim! She has group lessons once a week, which I don't think are that great, but it's important that she is having fun and taking instruction from someone other than me! Havin...

cabeça dura: March 2009
http://tenhocabecadura.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
An exercise in structured procrastination. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Heading to Austin most certainly means time with great friends, and Ann's house is always there to welcome me. For a visitor, its cool and quiet rooms are the perfect place to regenerate - the afternoon light is nothing short of magical and I swear I happen on a new collection each time. Rollin' with the Dunstons: January 2013
http://rollinwithdunston.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Rollin' with the Dunstons. Thursday, January 17, 2013. Although we have only been here less than 3 months, there are already things that I LOVE about Alaska. In no particular order. I love that the big dipper and north star are EVERYWHERE. The flag, route signs, on the sides of company vans, on our drivers licenses, business signs, etc. And, of course, hanging low and bright in the clear, crisp night sky. I love the big rack mammals! Moose, Caribou, Reindeer, Musk Ox! Thursday, January 3, 2013. We were f...

Rollin' with the Dunstons: farming
http://rollinwithdunston.blogspot.com/2013/08/farming.html
Rollin' with the Dunstons. Sunday, August 11, 2013. We learned a lot about the history of farming in Alaska as well as the current challenges faced by farmers. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes economically, politically, and socially! It really made me want to be more active in the local agriculture movement than just buying produce at the farmers market :o). This farm was by far my favorite - it was beautiful, organic and cozy/homey feeling. The pic below is a potato patch tiller!

Rollin' with the Dunstons: Things that made me smile
http://rollinwithdunston.blogspot.com/2013/08/things-that-made-me-smile.html
Rollin' with the Dunstons. Sunday, August 4, 2013. Things that made me smile. I'm trying to blog more regularly (um, which might not happen). I decided that maybe just sharing a few things from the past week (or so) that made me happy, might make it easier to keep on top of sharing/blogging. So, here it goes - in random order:. A great early morning run with my puppy dog. The poppy seeds I planted have started to bloom. Exploring a new trail on another great morning run. Hiking Exit glacier in Seward.
