These objects can be anywhere from a few light-years to over 320 million light-years away. A light-year is approximately 5.88 trillion miles. Because of unpredictable weather, the finalization of one photo can take weeks or even months of imaging. Since these are seasonal, due to the Earth’s rotation, some images will be finished one or two years after they are started.
