Rainbow from my Garden Hose: Swinging Squirrels
http://rainbowfrommygardenhose.blogspot.com/2010/10/swinging-squirrels.html
Saturday, October 23, 2010. Aidan came to me with a wooden swing he had made and he asked if we could make a squirrel swing on it. Why not, right? So we all got to work on what is really the goofiest and most entertaining thing that has been in our yard in a long time. They both worked very hard and the design was great. They thought a ramp would be good and baited the squirrels with peanut butter all the way up and onto the swing. It has been fun to see the squirrels figure it out! What to do today.

Rainbow from my Garden Hose: Fabric Families
http://rainbowfrommygardenhose.blogspot.com/2010/08/fabric-families.html
Monday, August 9, 2010. One of my personal favorites for sure. We made these in Art Club and they were just perfect pieces of art. I cut out fabric scraps in the shapes of shirts, dresses, hats, etc. and let the kids put them together to make the people in their families. The fabric gave them a base to then add the details like arms, legs and heads. August 10, 2010 at 12:00 AM. Love this I am so stealing it.expect to see it on my blog soon:). Rainbow from my Garden Hose: Flinging Paint
http://rainbowfrommygardenhose.blogspot.com/2010/07/flinging-paint.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. My little artists heading outside for some good ol' fling painting. They had fun and I think you'll agree that the masterpieces are quite stunning. In addition to their own pictures, they all worked together on a giant mural. I loved how this project evolved. They all had their own technique and even the unintentional spills produced a very cool effect. Good job guys! If you want to fling paint at home:. Go outside (a must). Dilute some washable tempera paint with water.

Rainbow from my Garden Hose: Art Club - Fabric Hand Trees and Play Dough Train Play
http://rainbowfrommygardenhose.blogspot.com/2010/07/art-club-fabric-hand-trees-and-play.html
Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Art Club - Fabric Hand Trees and Play Dough Train Play. Our second art class was a combination of Ann Wood horses, Fabric Hand Trees and fun with play dough! First we colored our horses which are from Ann Wood. (We will fasten these together at a later date.) You can see Ann Wood's amazing Cardboard Stampede here. They turned out beautifully! Thanks to my parent helpers who "encouragingly tweaked" some of these trees at the end.). And trains. We have done this before, but not...
