Photography and Wild life of Yellowstone National Park. Cowboy roundup in Wyoming. New content in wildlife 3 gallery. Tagged as: Add new tag. Young moose by the roadside. I was on the road today investigating a new area to hold a workshop. On the way there I saw a young moose on the road side striping new leaves of the willow branches. The moose didn't care what I did as long as I did not interfere with her dinner so I just shot away in the harsh noon sunlight. Tagged as: Add new tag. Go to top ↑.

Photography and Wild life of Yellowstone National Park. 10 July Teton Workshop. We had another very successful one day Teton workshop, or I should say Teton/Yellowstone workshop because we ended up driving into northern Yellowstone via Dunraven pass where we were able to photograph the elk and bear that you will see on the web site. Ht tp:/ www.yellowstonelight.com. Just navigate to the Teton workshop gallery page where some of the images are displayed. And headed to the south entrance of Yellowstone.

Photography and Wild life of Yellowstone National Park. In a Jay Miesel workshop that I attended a few years back he admonished photographers to always carry a camera where ever they are or go. I have taken that advice to heart and have been able to make some great photographs when others were not prepared. Saturday I was traviling to Heber City, Ut. when I came across a flock of vultures feasting on a dead elk carcass. With flowers/weeds in bloom it turned out to be a nice shooting day. We had another s...

Photography and Wild life of Yellowstone National Park. An excellent Windriver workshop. The main goal of the workshop was to get a great shot of Square Top using HDR, the zone system, panoramic or what ever method you want to use. It gives all a chance to expand their skills and knowledge. But Square Top isn't the only subject to be photographed. After shooting Square Top most of the participants turned their cameras on the lake shore and the water since the area is so pristine. We had a great time and ...

Sardonic comment
In 1976, when I delivered the John Locke Lectures at Oxford, I often spent time with Peter Strawson, and one day at lunch he made a remark I have never been able to forget. He said, "Surely half the pleasure of life is sardonic comment on the passing show". This blog is devoted to comments, not all of them sardonic, on the passing philosophical show. Hilary Putnam. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Further remarks about Davidson. By a linguistic community that determine. The meanings of the sentences). I also argu...

NEW PHYSICS THEORY by James A. Putnam
NEW PHYSICS THEORY by James A. Putnam. Alternative, Unified, General Theory of Physics. If you recognize that giving names to unknown and unverifiable mechanical causes does not mean we have explained them. If you recognize that mechanics has nothing to do with explaining life and intelligence. If you understand all mechanical theories cannot be shown to ever lead to life and intelligence, then join in looking beyond that artificial answer. James A. Putnam.
