Monday, October 16, 2006. Back in the UK. Back in the UK now, landed Sat morning. Flight was ok, quite bumpy compared to way over, but still managed a couple of hours sleep. Had great fun Saturday afternoon as was looking after my goddaughter Katherine who is now (I think) around 7 months old. For the most part she was easy to look after! Went to see the Irish at Madjeski yesterday - hardly worth it as we lost convincingly against Sale - not too promising in advance of the Heineken Cup match this Friday!

Thursday, January 18, 2007. Have finally managed to find the time to get to the cinema and see Casino Royale. And it has definately been worth the wait. Very glad that I caught it on the big screen rather than waiting for its small screen debut. All in all, a great film and I'm looking forward to seeing this again. Hard to compare with all the other Bond films as have seen most over and over again, but on first impressions, this has the makings of one of the best Bond films! Posted by Pete Bray at 9:53 am.

Monday, March 26, 2007. Well, after a fair bit of training over the past few months, the big day arrived, and I'm happy to announce that I completed the Reading Half Marathon yesterday, in a time of 2:15 (according to my watch - the official clock read 2:28 but I did spend the first 10 minutes not going anywhere! Monday, November 03, 2014. Great South Run 2014. After a 4 year gap, my first competitive run in 4 years. I thought I was going to dip under 1:30 as according to RunKeeper I was running average of just under 9 minute miles for the 10 mile course but Run Keeper measured the run at 10.23 miles. 10 miles in 1:31:21 which was good enough for 6289th out of just over 16000 runners. Rin managed 2:10:37 (5k in 36:56, 10k 1:17:20) running with Gemma who was completing her first ever race! Monday, August 25, 2014.
