Saturday, 2 May 2009. Painting and a first paddle. Well after deciding what to coat the skin in,. With a white pigment I got going over the may-day weekend. Coelan is an incredibly expensive coating but only requiring a few coats and its amazing elastic abilities its looking like a good choice at the moment. The layers went on quite painlessly, and apart from the incredible stink it wasn't. To much of a pain to apply. Here is it is with the final coat applied. Handles and surprised how stable it feels.

Tuesday, 23 September 2008. I managed to get the rim steamed round and glued. Here is the process I went through to get to finish it. The first was to find what the length and width of the ring. Sunday, 27 July 2008. Now on to securing the ends with stem-plates. First Setting up the Japanese saw with a stop and sawing. Out to help with chiselling the recess for the plates. Then on to cutting the plates and planning them to fit the slot. After that the upper surface is planned and filed to make a. Nice transition between the gunwales and the cutwaters. Her om dagen inviterte Kyrre til hardcore surfetur nord i Øygarden. Det blei berre oss to som stilte og vi padla ut frå Hellesøy i retning vest-nordvest til Lislodden. Bølgehøgda og forholda auka på og då vi skulle montere hjelmkameraet på meg var det nesten for seint. Det resulterte i halvfull dagsluke og kamera på foto i staden for film. Her begynner det å bli gøy.
