Thursday, April 28, 2011. April Fools Day Date Night. The Chile Relleno came with mexican rice, black beans and salad. It also came with 2 pieces flour tortilla. Sunday, March 20, 2011. A Great Day to Walk. March 5, 2011. We continued our stroll. We passed by the industrial area of Ballard. We walked on the street where residential meets the business district. A mural in one of the buildings caught John’s eyes. On the same street, we came across a sign: “wine tasting.” We couldn’t believe our eyes. A wine tasting place located between an old car mechanic shop and boat garage? Wednesday 5:00 – 9:00PM. Friday 5:00 – 9:00PM. Saturdays 12:00 – 6:00PM. Menu for the day.

Thursday, July 21, 2011. 4th of July week-end. As we entered downtown Portland, many people converging on the Willamette River for the Jazz Festival. There were also many boats on the river, soaking in the good weather and many people were walking by the river. We stopped by the Saturday Market under the bridge. Saturday, February 26, 2011. Trip to Port Angeles. Brie with candied walnut and apples. After dinner, we headed to our hotel, the Olympic View Hotel. The room was very nice.
