I have met who I believe is the main character of the novel, Nick Carraway. The book is written from his perspective (first person). He has just moved to Long Island (a suburb of New York city). Tuesday, March 31, 2009. That ended the "Now" section in my book and went onto the "then" section when Emily found out she was pregnant. After reading the "then" section I think that Emily killed herself because she was pregnant and she didn't want to tell anyone or deal with a baby.
