We are like this only. Blog about life, the universe and everything. Thursday, October 10, 2013. Thanks Priyae for writing this, it is such scenes that really bothered me in Delhi! The disparities were too much and then you also wonder if she is ignored because if her gender! October 12, 2013 at 2:40 PM. October 13, 2013 at 7:51 AM. Tazeen - yes, I wondered if it was gender or just the fact that living like that beats all the humanity out of you. February 25, 2015 at 7:49 AM. December 21, 2015 at 6:06 AM.

We are like this only. Blog about life, the universe and everything. Thursday, October 16, 2014. What's the real story here? My sister’s firm in the US, for example, has a health insurance policy that pays for employees who want a sex change operation. Now does this policy mean that the company is encouraging everyone to change from he to she or vice versa? Of course not. But if an employee so wishes, the company is willing to help him or her out. Which is a great HR policy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sukh dukh log: Where did my summer go!!! :)
http://sukhdukhlog.blogspot.com/2016/08/where-did-my-summer-go.html
Sharing my life as a Daughter, Wife, Sister, Mommy and a working Mother. Saturday, August 20, 2016. Where did my summer go! So after months and months of doldrums and taking this scary decision of quitting my well paying job, the job that gave us subsidized cost insurance, the job that was our stability; walking away from it was terrifying but staying was even worse. And walk away I did and I still do not regret that decision at all. He finished twenty minutes before me! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

We are like this only. Blog about life, the universe and everything. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. The movie starts off explosively – plenty of action, fast pace, fisticuffs in inimitable Salman style. But then in comes a stale Yash Raj plot about a love story and out goes the interest. The plot is full of holes – a spy sent to find out more about a nuclear scientist supposedly selling secrets to Pakistan spends more time ogling his assistant. SPOILER ALERT! Labels: Ek Tha Tiger. We are like this only. Blog about life, the universe and everything. Wednesday, July 9, 2014. On having it all. What with Indira Nooyi’s dukh-bhari dastaan going viral, I can’t resist adding my two bits because the piece had me fuming at multiple levels. Having taken out some of the khunnus on fb. I thought I should resurrect my moribund blog so I could discuss it some more. First - the fact that her mother expects her to be the one doing both inside and outside the home pissed me off. There are only so ...

Food and Laughter: My Boss's Pasta and My Spicy Moroccan Soup
http://foodandlaughter.blogspot.com/2014/10/pasta-and-soup.html
A blog about Enjoying Life and Food. Thursday, October 16, 2014. My Boss's Pasta and My Spicy Moroccan Soup. We were at Fashion Week recently and a friend pointed us to the Smokehouse Deli saying we had to try 'My Boss's Pasta'. After we got over the confusion caused by the fact that she runs her own PR firm, we did go across and try it out. Simple, light and delicious, so much so that I couldn't wait to recreate it in my own kitchen, with fairly good results. 2 onions, sliced. Splash of white wine.

Food and Laughter: July 2012
http://foodandlaughter.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
A blog about Enjoying Life and Food. Sunday, July 29, 2012. Suddenly, I remembered that we had puff pastry sheets at home and decided to try my hand at a dessert using puff pastry. Given my somewhat temperamental oven, I wanted a dish that could be cooked on the stovetop, so a fried puff-pastry would be the easiest, I figured. But what would I fill inside? Date halwa, of course! 15 cups deseeded dates. 189; liter warm milk. 189; cup almond shards, roasted in ghee. Serve hot with pistachio icecream. If yo...
