Postmortem: Week Alone with Lily | Caregiver Dad
https://raisingarealist.wordpress.com/2013/08/12/postmortem-week-alone-with-lily
The chronicles of a stay-at-home dad. Postmortem: Week Alone with Lily. August 12, 2013. Just kidding. It actually went really well and I didn’t post because I was busy with work. The ship wasn’t run as tightly as if Wifey was around. Lily wore some questionable outfits to gymnastics camp that she chose herself. Hair was not meticulously arranged. More teeth could have been brushed. Less corn dogs could have been consumed. But we got along really well. Posted in Lily's Silly Stuff. Enter your comment here.

The chronicles of a stay-at-home dad. Using Bribes to Push Kids in the Right Direction. August 16, 2013. You might have seen the video. Of Lily conquering her fear of the diving board during her swimming class. That was a year long process, but predictably, once she tried it, she loved it and looks forward to that part of class every session. The session after jumping off the diving board, the teacher started using the huge water slides at the pool as a reward, rather than the diving board. I’m not sure ...

The chronicles of a stay-at-home dad. Would You Wish Your Life on Your Kid? August 19, 2013. Lily is of the age where her choices in occupations change weekly. She’ll just report out of the blue that she wants to be a doctor, a writer, or an alligator wrestler, depending on what she’s obsessed with at the time. Last week was stay-at-home mommy . The same personality flaws are within me, with one exception: after seeing my mother’s example, I was able to pull myself out once I started staying at home myse...

Sunday, May 27, 2012. No, that is not a green screen behind us. We really were on a beach with white sands and coconut trees. I know I can't believe it either! Lena was sitting on the swing with Powell having her lunch, and I was inside visiting with Grandma. The next time I looked out to check on them there was Grandpa right in the middle. Raising A Renaissance man
Raising A Renaissance man. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. This was my BEST home school year ever! Because "I let it go.". On Mother's day I was talking to my mom on the phone and I realized that the words "this was our best year ever."came out of my mouth! I did and it was!
