Today, I don't feel like talking about myself, though. I feel compelled to write about my place of employment and my alma mater, Providence College. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. I don't actually have a lot to write today. The most exciting thing in our lives is only by proxy - my sister Breanne got engaged over the weekend. We're all very excited for her and very pleased with the new future brother-in-law. He proposed in a beautiful church in Minneapolis using a $12 acrylic ring but promptly replaced it with a beautiful ring they'd chosen from Tiffany's. La-di-da! Links to this post. For some reason, they appear far more content with their circumstances than I am able to be. I claim contentment with my life all the time, but am I truly and honestly content? The combines are out in full force, the weather is cooling off considerably and it is my favorite time of year. A couple of weeks ago it was Parents Weekend at Dordt College, where Evan and Denise both attend, so according to Mom and Dad Swager, there were 5 reasons to come and visit again.
