Random Thoughts with Lisa: Happy New Year.... Raheem!

http://randomlisathoughts.blogspot.com/2008/12/tomorrow-is-new-years-eve.html

Random Thoughts with Lisa. Life is an adventure. live it well. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Happy New Year. Raheem! Tomorrow is New Year's Eve. I wish everyone a Happy New Year. As much as I'm saddened by this, it also means Raheem is now running, skipping, jumping and swimming along with his sister Cindy who passed about two years ago now. Another cool thing is that this spring/summer Raheem got to live his dream and fly in a helicopter. Amazing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A little of me.

Random Thoughts with Lisa: July 2009

http://randomlisathoughts.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

Random Thoughts with Lisa. Life is an adventure. live it well. Monday, July 27, 2009. My time at Temperance. In the time we took to hike around I just really wanted to have fun and enjoy myself, upon first looking out at the places I suspected they could have been I had my tears, but Julie was an adventurer so I celebrated that as well! I didn't have any deeply profound thoughts, but it was just a good time to remember a friend. Remember how we were going to hike and camp and have an adventure! After a l...

Random Thoughts with Lisa: Kids say the Darndest things

http://randomlisathoughts.blogspot.com/2007/08/kids-say-darndest-things.html

Random Thoughts with Lisa. Life is an adventure. live it well. Sunday, August 26, 2007. Kids say the Darndest things. My sister and the fam were here this weekend. On Friday evening, my sister, Pat and I went to the place we're getting our tattoos to plan what we wanted. It was good to get some inspiration and to make sure he can do what each of us wanted. On Saturday afternoon I had some time to play with Sarah and Josh. here's a little excerpt from one conversation. You're getting a tattoo?

Random Thoughts with Lisa: Time to start writing again

http://randomlisathoughts.blogspot.com/2008/10/time-to-write.html

Random Thoughts with Lisa. Life is an adventure. live it well. Saturday, October 04, 2008. Time to start writing again. It's time. there are many thoughts running through my head tonight. There have been for many nights, it's just that I haven't made the time to write because somehow it feels like work, even though I know it will be good when I finally get it all out. Moving out meant finding a job. somewhere, anywhere. (close that is) and one place that is ALWAYS hiring is Target. These thin...It's not ...

Random Thoughts with Lisa: Burn Notice

Random Thoughts with Lisa. Life is an adventure. live it well. Friday, January 23, 2009. No not the show on usa. Tonight i decided i needed to wash my norwex antibac cloth but didn't want to do a load of laundry. I decided to boil it. I put it in a pot with water, turned on the stove and headed downstairs to check some emails "quick". Pause for a short commercial break. if you don't know what norwex. Is, click here. Back to the story. 30/45mins later I heard beeping. did i put on the timer? Thank the Lor...

The David Digest: May 2005

http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html

Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Three day weekends go by way too quickly! It was certainly nice to have some time to recharge this weekend. Back to the work world now. Time to make some money so I can afford to make some more real memories. Posted by david at Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Sunday, May 22, 2005. Maybe, but it doesn't go down fast enough. I had to break out a few towels upstairs. Posted by david at Sunday, May 22, 2005. Monday, May 16, 2005. Weddings: It's Go Time! Let the festivities begin! It was a great...

Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Its Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas. For my other self imposed blogging rules. Also, please feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts. I get my kicks out of comments. We have a big week planned, everything from meeting my extended family to skiing, to a wedding reception. It should be a great week! Many of you know or have heard my cousin play. Have a Merry Christmas! Posted by david at Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Tuesday, December 13, 2005. Only entry stairs ...

The David Digest: August 2005

http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 25, 2005. The past three days I've spent at Yosemite National Park. I was very impressed. They have beautiful tall redwood trees everywhere, tall waterfalls, crystal clear rivers, and more rock formations than you can shake a stick or any other large pointy object at. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to find the nicest camp site of any there at a small backpackers camp just north of a main camping area, complete with running water and flushing toilets! At the half way point ...

The David Digest: June 2005

http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html

Sunday, June 26, 2005. I'm not usually one to let my mind wander, but I also don't usually receive strange phone calls like this. I wasn't sure what to do, had the phone been stolen? Had my cousin been mugged or abducted? I ended up calling her parents. They assured me that she was with Columbian friends who frequently spoke Spanish and not to worry. I felt like an idiot. I am at no shortage of things to discuss, and I hope to get you caught up, or at least fill in some more of the gaps once school wraps up in 3 weeks for the semester. In short, here are the latest happenings:. I spent last weekend in NY visiting my girlfriend. NY is awesome, definitely not a bad place to show up every other month! http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 25, 2005. As previously mentioned, I spent this past weekend in. Visiting my girlfriend, and it was a fantastic trip. Not only because we got to see eachother for the first time in 4 weeks (yes, I know that sounds super cheesy, give me a break), but we kept quite busy in the city. Friday night we went out on the town with her fellow instructors, it was quite the mix. They were from all over the. So there was a lot of making fun of each other’s accents. And Canadian accents to poke at?

The David Digest: November 2005

http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Meeting family is both an exciting and nerve wracking time. This Thanksgiving I spent roaming the Midwest with my girlfriend meeting all her family, everyone including her sister, aunts, uncles, grandma, cousins, great aunts, and even the nieces. Overall, I think I handled it well, but it would be interesting to hear what the rest of you think. Posted by david at Tuesday, November 29, 2005. Wednesday, November 16, 2005. Friday, July 22, 2005. Back to the Future in the Theater! I need a couple of you to do me a favor. I'm leaving to visit my sister in California on August 19th, which will no doubt be an excellent trip full of adventure and death defying reckless behavior. The problem with this, is that the next day is quite possibly most important day in recent Twin Cities history, the theatrical showing of Back to the Future. I have not seen the 35mm version of BTTF. Friday, April 29, 2005. This fall, provided I'm accepted, I'll be starting at the Carlson School of Management working on my Part-Time MBA. I plan on taking classes weeknights and on the weekend, which as I'm told by current students, pretty much destroys any thought of having a social life. And so will be my existence for approximately 4 years. So to all you OD peeps out there, remember that just because we may not be doing youth group together anymore doesn't mean we shouldn't still hang out! 3) You li...

Sunday, March 27, 2005. Well, happy Easter everyone. I hope you have had your fill of those marshmellow chicks and boiled eggs. Mmmm. doesn't that sound great? I must say though, Easter has to be one of my favorite holidays, even better than Thanksgiving. No gifts, no expectations, you still see the family, you eat good food, you can go outside without the fear of losing your face to frostbite. what could be better? Nothing else for me to do! Random life observations. posted randomly. What else would you expect? Hello, My Name is Charlotte. March 19, 2015. Hello, my name is Charlotte. I am 5 and a half. Almost. I steal my mom’s sushi takeout and am definitely the more adventurous eater of the kids in the house. I also like to go to get my nails done with mom – but only to the place with the Cinderella chair. That one is the best. She took me to the makeup store last weekend but I didn’t get anything but it was still fun. December 5, 2014.

Anyone who's ever spent money on advertising should have no trouble understanding the difference between sending a promotion to the same group of people over and over again - and sending a promotion to a different group of people every time. It's a fact that the more times a prospect reads your offer, the more likely they will be to buy. Consider these statistics provided by the National Sales Association:. Of sales are made on the 1st contact. Of sales are made on the 3rd contact. Viral marketing is a v...

Friday, January 18, 2008. Animal Victim of Human Acts. Refer to the news of the San Francisco Zoo Tiger Attack. As it is presented to me, the boys most likely got a great big lesson with one paying for it with his life. If the animal was shot dead to save the boy, fair enough. But in this case, 2 lives were lost, one kinda deserved it, the other just acting on instincts. The truth is, if the reports are based on facts, the tiger was the innocent victim.
