Summer, at Last! June 4th, 2009. Today is the first day of summer vacation and even though my calendar is full, it feels WONDERFUL! The beginning of summer vacation is full of promise; full of possibilities. I always have grand plans of making it the funnest and most productive summer yet! May 23rd, 2009. Usually my Saturdays are spent rushing from soccer game to soccer game and then coming home to complete chaos. In fact, contrary to public opinion, Saturday is frequently my least favorite day of the week. But this particular Saturday . we have no soccer games. No soccer tournaments. No soccer practices. Sunday, June 7, 2009. SEA OF PINK - May 27. On May 27 th. At 9:00 am, my school had a "Karen Britton. Day" for our family. It was amazing. How many people can say that they've had their own day declared for them? The dance team performed a Michael Jackson tribute. Precious! To Debbie who trains her team and steals the competition every year. The dance team performed salsa and ballroom numbers. They were adorable. The students at VLW. Wish I had more pictures but my camera went dead. That is so special!
