Museum's ground level as seen from the upper level. That's a skeleton of a blue whale on the left. Model of mine and crushing works of Port Phillip and Colonial Mining Company at Clunes, central Victoria operating between 1857-1894. The mine produced a total of 15.96 tonnes. Hmmm what happened to him? Starved himself to death, I suppose?

Bank's facade on Collins corner Queen streets. The bank, completed in 1887, is still a working bank. According to the brochure, the columns and brackets are cast iron, covered with strong canvas, fixed with white lead cement and five coats of oil paint. The ceiling was hand painted and gilded. Entrance to the Cathedral room.

A couple of odd sculptures. Uh we just found this Teddy Bear curiously hanging on a fence at a construction site nearby. We don't know who put it there. Drying their feathers, I presume?
