Monday, August 10, 2015. Today we visited the Town of Taos as well as the Pueblo. But first we drove on to the Bridge over the Rio Grande Gorge. It is 565 feet above the Rio Grande. My pictures do not do justice to the structure as the area around the bridge has been fenced off so it is difficult to get a good view of its grandeur. These are mine -. Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Sunday morning I started up toward Newfound Gap for sunrise, but the Park was in the fog! So I turned West and returned to Cades Cove after being blocked by a downed tree across the Park Road. This past Friday went out for a hike with my hiking friends, Chris, Myrna, Shake, and Mark. We had a lovely cool and partly cloudy day for this hike in Southeastern San Diego County. A Different Angle of View. After checking at the Ranger Station about a parking permit, and making a last rest stop, we were on the trail. The hike was in chaparral. Lower end of Lake Morena. Manzanita Limb and Bark.

We went out to Anza-Borrego to visit with a NPS Ranger that we knew from our work at the North Rim. Gaelyn is boondocking (Camping on open land where there. We met up with her about 1100 and delivered some of our bake goods - dark chocolate chocolate chip cookies, and homemade sourdough English muffins. She recognized the items right away and was most appreciative.

So I finally built a lightbox, took hundreds of pictures without a good custom white balance and learned that that was very stupid, processed the pictures and try to implement them into a nice little website.
