The Æsop for Children. The Lion and the Mouse. A Lion lay asleep in the forest, his great head resting on his paws. A timid little Mouse came upon him unexpectedly, and in her fright and haste to get away, ran across the Lion's nose. Roused from his nap, the Lion laid his huge paw angrily on the tiny creature to kill her. Begged the poor Mouse. "Please let me go and some day I will surely repay you.". A kindness is never wasted.

http://emileesreadings.blogspot.com/2011/08/review-mistress-of-nothing.html

Book reviews and other blurbs about my book world. Monday, August 8, 2011. Review: The Mistress of Nothing. I think I saw The Mistress of Nothing. By Kate Pullinger on an IndieBound List. And it was very short and a quick read, especially for a historical fiction. The Mistress of Nothing. What You'll Find Here.
