Reading the Strings: Time for an adventure

http://readingthestrings.blogspot.com/2010/10/time-for-adventure.html

Friday, October 8, 2010. Time for an adventure. So I have decided with my abundance of free time I am going to take on a few new projects. The second big adventure I want to take on is inspired by the movie Julia and Julia. Yes I did cry during this movie, at least my Uncle Chad can appreciate where I am coming from). I have a great new cook book entitled Good Eats. Im so lucky that I am going to be able to partake of all those wonderful meals you will be cooking. October 8, 2010 at 3:49 PM.

Reading the Strings: Julia and Julia

http://readingthestrings.blogspot.com/2010/01/julia-and-julia.html

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. So it has been quite the delay since my last post. Seems like life is so busy this just fell a ways down on the list of things to do. I barley have time to right in my real journal let alone this. Last night we watched the movie "Julia and Julia", and for those aware of my condition (the wife being pregs. I did indeed cry and several times during the movie. So you may be wondering is this a sad movie? It for a dollar, it is worth it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Reading the Strings: Two More Down

http://readingthestrings.blogspot.com/2010/11/two-more-down.html

Monday, November 1, 2010. Two more have bit the dust. Saturday brought us a delicious bowl of French Onion Soup and a hearty meatloaf. The soup was particularly good. I used Fontina Cheese for the first time and it was quite good. I also bought some special little soup bowls that can go into the oven. The meatloaf was pretty good but I think I need to give it one more try. That brings the total to eight episodes complete and 72 more to go. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Reading the Strings: March 2010

http://readingthestrings.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 29, 2010. Did you notice that the world got a little bit dimmer Saturday afternoon? On Saturday a friend left to go back to where we all strive for. Sadly she left behind a family that is confused, friends that don't quite understand, and a world that needs more people like her. Thank you Heavenly Father for letting Taylia cross my path, letting me know who she was. I look forward to the morning that I can see her again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Awesome Search Engine to WIN! What princess are you? Porter and Oakley Play Fetch. Friday, August 29, 2008. Awesome Search Engine to WIN! Monday, December 28, 2009. Ok people you can all quit laughing at me now. Yes I realize that these are Halloween pictures and that it is almost January. My goal for the new year is to do a better job of documenting all the fun happenings of our little family so I thought that it was only right that I try and do a little of catching up. This last picture cracks me up, I told Porter to show me what a scary lion looks like but I am pretty sure that he heard 'scared' lion instead.

After they did all the hard work of making the holes and setting up the poles I and Porter came down to. Er watch. Porter loved every minute of it even though the wind made it soooo. Awesome Search Engine to WIN! Monday, November 22, 2010. I love all this snow we are getting! It is really making me excited for the Christmas season and it's not even Thanksgiving yet! We have some massive icicles growing off our roof- I will have to try and get a better pic tomorrow. The one in front of the kitchen was huge- I would guess 4.5-5 ft long- I am anxious to see if it keeps growing or if the snow slides off the roof and breaks it off. Porter is so cute he keeps calling them pointy ice cubes!
