http://www.readingwithjen.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Flipping through the pages. Sunday, May 9, 2010. Open the pages and open your eyes. So I love to read, but often I forget how much I enjoy it. Being a student, the joys of reading occasionally get forgotten when all you get to read are textbooks for months and months. As the summer begins, I embark on a goal, a journey, to delve into a wide variety of books.children's stories, theology and Christian perspectives, classic tales, biographies, and perhaps even a bit of romance. And the adventure begins now.

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. " Isaiah 55:12. Saturday, May 26, 2012. Normally, when the students in my class say funny things, I'm able to stay composed and not laugh out loud at them, but only in my head. Here are just two recent examples when this was not possible. We are learning about symbols of Canada.so we discussed the symbols on our Canadian coins. Her husband also, ...

Number the Stars" made me more aware of the quiet bravery shown by the people of Denmark during the Holocaust. When Germany invaded, their beloved King Christian X, surrendered immediately, because he had no means of defending his people. His next step was to order the destruction of the Dutch Navy so it could not be used by the Germans. Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Some thoughts on my LYS.

Family Reading

View my complete profile. Find What You Need. Http:/ www.arbookfind.com. Reading With Little Ones. I started this blog because I love reading and I want to spark the same interest in my kids. So I started to list books we've recently read together and enjoyed. My older kids are in 3rd and 4th grade this year. They earn points at school for reading books and taking tests on them. For those with preschool age and younger, I've included our favorite picture books, which I would recommend for any home library.
