About Leah Ann Childers. The trials, tribulations and adventures of being a new Principal. Archive for the month “February, 2013”. You Are Cooler than Chocolate. Today is the first day of school for my own children. My school does not start for one week and I fully expect myself to be wide awake bright and early on that first day. Yet it is today that I found myself wide awake at 3:30 am. I can’t explain it because I’ve never been so unsettled about sending my kids off to school. Posted in K-12 Education.

About Leah Ann Childers. The trials, tribulations and adventures of being a new Principal. Archive for the month “March, 2013”. Meditation in the Mountains. Mountains are not Stadiums where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, they are the cathedrals where I practice my religion. I have found, however, that time along a mountain stream may be the only experience needed for the kind of peaceful meditation that will prepare me for the remainder of the school year….
