Authors Note: When I wrote this I wanted people to think about how lucky they are to have their parents and that not everyone has a mom and dad at home with them. I wrote this story as a poem because I really didn't want to drag the story out I just wanted them to think hard about it. Today was the day. The day my husband is coming home.
