Just another WordPress.com site. A year ago I was extremely obese, unhappy and unhealthy. I decided to make some radical changes in my life and moved to a new city, changed the way I ate and began exercising on a regular basis. The result was I have lost around 120 pounds and gained my health and sanity back. The result is a whole new me! I have lots of energy, restored health and a positive outlook on life. Just another WordPress.com site. Asymp; 2 Comments. I sometimes volunteer on Saturdays to cook food to feed a group of people here in Denver. My friend Doris had me use coconut oil instead of olive oil while frying vegetables. The result was wonderful. The coconut oil can be used on high heat without burning. The added plus is that it gave the veggies some added flavor. I’m not sure how expensive coconut oil is in the store, but I will look for it and post an addition to this one once I do.

Sunday, January 1, 2012. Over winter break we meant to crank out a ton of blog posts. Obviously, that's really been happening. We're in Hawaii now bringing in the new year with family, but before we make our way too far into 2012, here's a short recap of our Christmas. We had a small quiet Christmas in Vacaville this year. But even though our table wasn't full, our plates were loaded. The lineup: Lamb, king crab, green salad, greek potatoes, persimmon pudding, and gingerbread men. Dessert first, right?
