Woolly Bits - Everything Textile: January 2015
http://woollybits.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Woolly Bits - Everything Textile. Monday, 26 January 2015. I can't believe that january is nearly over, but on the other hand I am hoping for signs of spring now. doesn't help much though - after two or three days of milder temperatures, with rain here and there, but nothing too bad, we'll be back to winter again from wednesday onwards:( the only thing that lifts my spirits every time I go out are the first snowdrops outside! Pity that they don't flower in yellow or red, they would be even more uplifting!

Woolly Bits - Everything Textile: good weather...
http://woollybits.blogspot.com/2014/11/good-weather.html
Woolly Bits - Everything Textile. Wednesday, 12 November 2014. Not for going out, no - but for crafting away inside:) we're having the "punishment" for the lovely september weather; a lot of rain, often windy, foggy, cool - or maybe it just seems that way after the long spell of nice weather? It's normal november weather really, nothing unusual for us at this time of the year. just this morning I heard on the radio that it's only 6 weeks until christmas! Off to the stash - for now. These are some of the ...

Woolly Bits - Everything Textile: Patterns
http://woollybits.blogspot.com/p/patterns.html
Woolly Bits - Everything Textile. Triskele Pattern in Double or Two-Sided Knitting. And make sure that you cross the yarns, otherwise the lower edge might not be "closed"! To end up with a square, I worked 4 rows in single colour before I started the pattern and 4 rows again after I finished the pattern. I added 2 stitches in main colour on each side, plus the two edge stitches, worked with both threads together (52 sts). 1 Row: W - 6, [3,2] 7 times, 3, 6. 2 Row: B - 5, 2, [1,2,1,1] 7 times, 1, 2, 5.

Woolly Bits - Everything Textile: April 2014
http://woollybits.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Woolly Bits - Everything Textile. Wednesday, 30 April 2014. Typical for spring are days that are too short to put in everything I'd like to put in! So no blogging. there's still too much work leftover, when the day is already gone:) of course I still knit/sew/spin etc. but gardening work takes over the regime. the weather dictates inside or outside work and lately we did have quite a few drier spells. Castle Island in Lough Key Forest Park. The first batch of flowers - picture taken several weeks ago:) I...

Woolly Bits - Everything Textile: May 2014
http://woollybits.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Woolly Bits - Everything Textile. Tuesday, 13 May 2014. At least I had sunny colours inside - when working on my flower garden tablecloth! By now I have more than 100 flowers and quite a few "doubles", only about 20 or so to go. not to mention all the greens in between of course:). I already cut half of the green fabrics, but I still have to fold and "stick" them, before I can start putting everything together. I did knit some smaller projects on the side, when I had to stop with the beige cardie (which ...

Woolly Bits - Everything Textile: the last entry....
http://woollybits.blogspot.com/2014/12/the-last-entry.html
Woolly Bits - Everything Textile. Wednesday, 31 December 2014. What a relief to find the water dish inside full to the rim:). Nothing left of that today - most of the day we had either drizzle or rain plus a lot of wind - and the rain is going to be stronger tonight. lovely - it seems we have to light our sparklers inside the porch again, just like last year! I hope the new year brings improvements to my forgetfulness - there's room for more! Anyway, here are a few of my "fiddles":. Of the single beads.
