The Portmanteau: December 2010
http://www.theportmanteau.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Can attest, our dear Mimi loves to describe everything in her universe, from her “ensembles” to her Moroccan room, as “festive”. My recommendation for some genuine festive cheer this season is a visit to Columbia Road Wednesdays. Posted by The Portmanteau. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Portmanteau: October 2010
http://www.theportmanteau.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 22, 2010. There has been a three-week break in blogging because I have started studying for a masters and my other The Portmanteau half has been busy with the day job. Never mind that we’ve been spotted in the pub, squeezed in trips to Dublin and managed to keep abreast of what was going down on The X Factor – we’ve been really busy, OK? First up: Christa D’Souza has the same taste in men as me. I mean has she been reading The Portmanteau? For me this article just reinforces the point tha...

The Portmanteau: Boys We Fancy

Friday, October 30, 2009. There are no Google images that successfully illustrate the concept of a hot dentist. Just imagine it.). Posted by The Portmanteau. What an amazing and avant-garde lineup. Michael Fassbender is in Hunger, which makes your choice all the more challenging to me. I had a sad face when I came out of that film. I also find your love of dentists absolutely berserk. You are one in a million clearly. October 30, 2009 11:09 AM. Teehee great post x. October 30, 2009 11:14 PM.

The Portmanteau: Retail Therapy
http://www.theportmanteau.com/2010/11/retail-therapy.html
Wednesday, November 17, 2010. I don't have time to write a lengthy post, concerned as I am with chasing up leads and attending council meetings - it's all part of being a student reporter on a news website, don't you know. But I have two blogs I would like to share with you. When I first moved here 18 months ago. My Portmanteau other half and I would spend hours in our local grocers when we lived in Holland Park, intrigued by the dusty ornaments and delighted by the out-of-date Immac depilatory cream.

The Portmanteau: August 2010
http://www.theportmanteau.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Watson, Schmatson; Haircut, Schmaircut. Emma Watson got a haircut. Now – as you might recall – we’re not the biggest Emma Watson fans here at The Portmanteau. It’s not that we have anything against the Harry Potter star per se; it’s just that we don’t get it. She’s a pretty-ish actor who stars in some films about witchcraft or something. Why all the hoopla and lucrative advertising contracts? Wednesday, August 4, 2010. First up is the Jezebel video. For example. As an overal...

The Learning Curve: Apathy and the loss of time.
http://social-dullard.blogspot.com/2011/01/apathy-and-loss-of-time.html
Friday, January 14, 2011. Apathy and the loss of time. Sorry for the absence. As this post will try and chronicle, I've sort of been in a rut. Mainly blogging, creativity, personal issues, money, prospects and other things. I seem to have lost track of time and the length of everything in this rut. It may be the currently f'd up sleep patern of mine talking but I really am hazzy about where days and weeks have gone. Then when my parentals were away one of a couple of small holidays during this time I got...

Sometimes i hate this time, others i embrace it. The moments before sleep you cant achieve, where you mind ebbs and flows with worries, analysis and memories. From this past week i have many new memories, good, bad, and ugly. I planed for the cinema with DS and anyone who could join, on Thursday. To see toy story 3D.

Sunday, November 18, 2012. Why I am Pro-Choice. These are strange and dark times in Ye Olde Catholic Republic of Ireland. Abortion, it is said by some, is the third rail of Irish Politics. Well it's live and sparking, and our elected leaders are running from it in every which way they can. One TD is so aware of her job that she actually doesn't think Legislation is necessary, her job as a legislator seemingly escaping her. I wrote in the title to this post "Why am I Pro-Choice", well I will tell you why.
