Wolfish Musings: July 2014

Thursday, July 03, 2014. To Every Thing There is a Season, and a Time to Every Purpose Under the Heaven. My parents raised me to believe that one must take the feelings of others into account when speaking and doing things. Before you open your mouth to speak, think about how the message is going to be received on the other end. Is this the right thing to say - and, if it is, is it the right time/place to say it? For living in such an unsafe area. I understand (even if I don't agree) with the Satmar Rebb...

Funny Relationships | Frozenchallah's Blog

We Are All Icebergs. Nothing Funny in Paris →. December 2, 2014. The older I get the more it seems to me that life is filled with funny relationships. I now view WordPress as the old friend who you meet for coffee every once in a while, no longer the buddy that I looked forward to playing with every day at recess. I’ve learned that relationships change and sometimes relationships that you think will be in your life forever just aren’t. It’s O.K. it’s just life. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

No Fault In The Book →. November 22, 2013. I’ve noticed lately that the chipmunks around our home seem to be disappearing and we now have more squirrels than ever before. It may be coincidental but I don’t think so. I’m not saying that the squirrels are up to anything nefarious, maybe there just aren’t enough acorns for the two groups and the squirrels being bigger win by default. I have no idea but I really don’t like it. What is with my bricks? Have any of you out there had anything like this happen?

Did You Smell That? We Are All Icebergs →. What’s Going On? May 16, 2014. What’s going on is a question that I pose to you and that I ask of myself. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve blogged. I’ve never done it consistently enough to build up any kind of readership but I’ve been even less consistent in the past year. There’s been a fair bit going on in my regular little life here. I just have had no desire to write about it. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Did You Smell That? You are comment...

No Fault In The Book. What’s Going On? Did You Smell That? December 16, 2013. I thought and thought about that idea and all I could come up with is that I don’t really think that’s true for me. My strongest sense memories all seem to be related to smells. As a matter of fact I have learned to recognize the scent of an approaching migraine. All of a sudden I’ll smell cigar smoke. No visual haloes for me. A freshly cut cucumber equals summer plain and simple. The day old scent of smoke from a fire on cloth...
