We are a small friendly club offering unrestricted sailing and facilities for compatible pursuits. We are based on a picturesque reservoir in a fairly elevated position two miles from Marsden on the A62. Please use this site to learn about our club. If you are interested in sailing why not come along and meet us? Click here for a map showing our exact location. Another successful season is drawing to a close. The Club AGM followed by the annual dinner and presentation evening will be held.

If you are interested in finding out more about the club-why not pop along on one of the dates listed on our sailing calendar. We will be able to tell you all you need to know. Membership rates are probably the lowest in the area! Full member - self only 85. Family member - self, spouse and children under 18 100. Junior member - under 18 or student 20. Club house and gate keys 6.00. All boats must carry third party insurance of at least 2,000,000.00 - this is not expensive.

We have a small car park , clubhouse and boat park overlooking the jetties and reservoir. The clubhouse provides shelter, warmth, separate mens/womens toilets, hot showers and changing rooms (we are not connected to mains water therefore some people chose to shower at home). We have a small kitchen/ galley and bring our own bottled water to drink and cook with. The clubhouse club room has large windows allowing non sailors to watch the sailing in some comfort on a windy day.

If you would like a copy of our application form and general rules please click here. The committee meets at the Great Western Inn Marsden (opposite Redbrook). On the 1st Thursday each month (excluding January) at 8 PM. Any one wishing to enquire about the club is welcome to come along and meet us, or of course just turn up on any Sunday afternoon at the club.

With a lot of help and moral support from Charles project Graduate has moved on. After the one pack / two pack paint debacle and the wettest year in the history of the planet I finally got a weather window in which to risk painting the Graduate. The primer/undercoat is on and it’s looking good. With a bit of luck it might even be on the water this season. Not much wind….

Champion conformation, Aussies that can work! Secret to our success? My Grandfather, R.W. Bruene, started Redbrook Stock farm at Cushing, Iowa in 1905. Grandpa bred registered Shorthorn cattle and Hampshire hogs and he held registered production sales at the farm. Grandpa had two huge red roofed barns and a brook or stream in the pasture; hence the name for the stock farm was Redbrook. Take look at the show page and puppy page for current show winners.
