http://www.bigbasinband.com/band-bio.php
The Big Basin Band started in 2006 and we've been making noise ever since! We are known in the area as an eclectic high energy rock 'n' roll band that always gets people on the dance floor. Occasional ballads, country, and jazzy numbers also make appearances in our set lists. We have played to acclaim at weddings, birthdays, BBQ's and beer fests. We are proud to have played many fundraising events for local groups including The Mad River Path Association. The Mad River Valley Ambulance Service.

By Lily R. at age 9. Where do you go. When the door opens to the huge. Do you go to the great woodlands. Where the pines grow so high. That you can’t see the tops? Or do you go to the open fields. Where the grass waves. Wherever you go,. To the cozy warm house. Come back and sleep. In the soft warm bed. Wherever you go,. Images from the Fall. School begins - First day orientation. An older - younger pair-up game. Circus Smirkus did a week's residency as part of our orientation. Our hope in the beginning weeks of school is to create a strong social community of trust and respect, and to lay the groundwork for academic engagement, curiosity, risk taking, and sustained focus. Charlie - learning to juggle scarves. Performance at the end of the week. Crys with devil sticks. A middle school science seminar. Sharing a good book.

The Fire of the Grand Old Hall. By Carter M. at age 10. The Grand Army of Republic Hall,. Sat like a statue. Across from my grandparent’s house. Finally with a purchase. They made it theirs. I am thinking did something happen. To a loved one? Is the reply I get. From my weeping mom. That explains why I heard. Enter ...

By and For Middle School Students. Publisher: Scholastic Press, 2008; 374 pages. Review by Adrian E. To be honest, there wasn’t much at all to complain about in. Walls pulled off an amazing memoir about an amazing story of resilience, happiness, quirkiness, and the always admirable quality of pulling yourself up from a poor childhood into a successful writing career. I would give this a ten out of ten and recommend it for anyone up for a thought provoking and fantastic read. Review by Margot L. But while...
